We are finally home from the hospital!! We went in on Saturday night and came home on Thursday afternoon. We soaked up a lot of knowledge from the doctors, nurses, and lactation consultants so it wasn't too bad. We could have stayed through Friday, but the nights were tough with the constant interruptions from the nurses, techs, cleaning crew, doctors, residents, consultants, and baby. Being home has been great because it is quiet and we get to focus on raising Elliot.
The
dogs have behaved well. To our surprise, Kinsey has shown no interest in Elliot. Isabelle is protective and wants to take care of Elliot all the time, but we only let her help us change diapers.Eric hsas finally gotten to start his two most anticipated activities: (i) wearing her and (ii) taking pictures (ok, I guess he already started that at the hospital).
